Is it really free? What's the catch?
There is no catch. The Free plan is a permanent free tier, no time limit, no credit card required, no upsell after 30 days. We offer it because protecting small Minecraft servers costs us very little once our infrastructure is built, and a free entry tier helps networks grow into paying customers when they outgrow it. That is the model.
What happens if I get attacked harder than the free plan handles?
Our Layer 3/4 network protects every plan, Free included. The free plan caps your player slots, not the size of attack we will filter for you. You only need to upgrade if you outgrow the 20-player limit or you need features like webhook alerts, analytics, sub-accounts, or Bedrock support.
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. You can register, point your DNS at us, and start filtering traffic in under five minutes without entering any payment information.
How is this different from my host's "free DDoS protection"?
Most hosting providers only filter volumetric attacks (the floods that saturate their uplink). They don't inspect the Minecraft protocol, so botted player attacks, login-spam, and Layer 7 patterns slip through. Infinity-Filter understands the Minecraft protocol and filters those too, on a network that's been hardened specifically for game traffic.
Will I see ads or branding on my server?
No. We do not inject anything into your traffic. Your players will not know you are using Infinity-Filter unless you tell them.
What happens if I outgrow it?
Upgrade to a paid plan in one click. Your filtering configuration and DNS setup stay in place, no migration, no downtime. You can downgrade just as easily if your server shrinks again.
Are there hidden bandwidth caps?
No. Bandwidth is unlimited on every plan, including Free. The only constraint on the Free plan is the player-slot cap.
